Inspection of Indoor Gas Installations / Pipelines

The inspection of indoor gas installations refers to the examination of the consumer’s pipeline or the pipeline between the gas delivery point and the entry connection of the gas appliance. The gas installation is inspected and assessed according to the following normative documents:

NATURAL GAS – Accredited Activity

  1. SIST EN 1775:2008 Gas Supply – Gas Pipelines for Buildings with Maximum Operating Pressure up to 5 Bar
  2. DVGW TRGI G600 Technical Rules for Gas Installations
  3. Method and Guide for the Inspection of Indoor Gas Installations for Natural Gas, Laboratorijski sistemi d.o.o.

The scope of the inspection includes the following:

a. Identification of the gas installation,
b. Preparation of the gas installation schematic,
c. Production of images of characteristic sections of the installation (according to customer requirements),

d. Visual inspection:

  • Inspection and assessment of pipeline condition,
  • Inspection and assessment of meter assembly condition,
  • Inspection and assessment of fittings condition,
  • Inspection and assessment of regulation equipment condition,

e. Review and recording of Certificates/Records for:

  • Inspection of chimney and ventilation systems (chimney sweeper certificates),
  • Inspection of gas appliances (authorized service providers),
  • Inspection of natural gas detection devices,
  • Inspection of liquefied petroleum gas detection devices,
  • Inspection of CO detection devices,
  • Other safety devices,
f. Conducting a tightness test,
g. Preparation of the inspection report,
h. Issuance of a report,
i. Issuance of a certificate,
j. Dispatch and archiving of documents.
