In 2017, Laboratorijski sistemi d.o.o. received an appointment from the Office of Metrology of the Republic of Slovenia for regular and extraordinary verification of gas volume correctors in accordance with SIST EN ISO 17020. The appointment covers a measurement range from (0.8 – 6) bar.

We provide gas volume corrector inspection/verification services:

• In our laboratory, and
• On-site at the installation location of the corrector.

As part of the gas volume corrector inspection/verification service, we perform the following tasks (both in the laboratory and on-site):

• Inspection and verification of gas volume correctors,
• Alignment of the counter on the corrector when replacing the gas meter or corrector,
• Input of the pulse constant when replacing the gas meter or corrector,
• Adjustment of the gas day,
• Adjustment of the natural gas composition,
• Adjustment of the reference temperature.

The advantage of on-site inspection and verification of gas volume correctors is that it allows testing at the working point, where the operation of both the corrector and gas meter can be assessed directly at the point of use, ensuring their uninterrupted functionality.
